Be courageous, Be real, Be a Wreath Queen

Kristeen Edwards founder and owner of Wreath Queen since 2006 tells a story of how she started her business that continues to grow in such an inspiring way.  Kristeen’s passion in corporate gifting and wreath making is unparalleled to any other gifter out there. 

Anyone who spends even ten minutes in Kristeen’s presence would agree that she exudes a kind of happiness that we strive to hold in our everyday lives.  With such a motivational attitude Kristeen radiates a natural glow that demonstrates her endeavor towards happiness.   A happiness that oozes from a genuine place inside her and spills onto everything she touches. 

Kristeen’s journey all started from a passion in interpreting and recreating beauty through gifts.   She yearned to capture that feeling one wishes to express and extend to someone special.  Kristeen describes it as “the feeling that you get, that warm lovely feeling that leaves a smile on your face, or that gasp of amazement and disbelief or that feeling of love that lets you know that someone was thinking about you and appreciates you.”  For a while she mused over starting her own business and momentum hit in November 2005 as strangers would knock on her door to inquire about the funky wreaths hanging on her front door.  With her entrepreneurial spirit ablaze Kristeen attended the Canadian Institute of Floral Design the next summer, to educate and feed her passion.  That same year her opportunity to shine came when she put together gift baskets for a large company for a friend of hers.  The experience released Kristeen’s inner fire and revealed a truth she could not deny anymore, and soon enough Kristeen was wreath making and creating gift baskets for corporate companies.  

Though Kristeen’s business is mainly corporate gifting, Wreath’s are still her passion “I find unexplainable amounts of joy in gift wrapping but my first love will always be Wreath Making”.   With passion fresh in her everyday, Kristeen envisions growth in not only a profitable direction also, growth that is morally conscience and responsible to her community and herself.  This is the very reason Kristeen joined e-Spot™, to be surrounded by like minded entrepreneurs who could support each other in taking their business to the next level with the same authentic intent.
